Late March 2011: we're leaving tomorrow

Suitcases are packed, and so is the container outside our house, filled with incubators, wheelchairs, beds, operating tables, a mobile x-ray and boxes of sterile equipment and other medical equipment. After hours of re-packing, we managed to fit everything into the box, tied down and wrapped for the long journey across the world.

The container is due to arrive in Kathmandu in May, we will land in Nepal's capital Tuesday afternoon.

I'm excited to go back, but also saddened.
