I am leaving today for Kathmandu, and will arrive there Tuesday afternoon and meet with Dr. Basant Pant already in the evening.
Ticket is booked, suitcase packed, and in ½ hour, the journalist and photographer will be at our house to cover the beginning of their story.
But our story began a while ago, seven weeks to be exact - seven weeks ago, we did not know that Ghane existed - now, in a couple of days, I will sit with her, talk to her, hold her and help her....
To be away from Sebastian for 2 weeks is almost unbearable to think of - I simply have to put it in a larger context to manage it. And that context is just so large and unknown, it almost makes it even worse. This is a difficult time of our lives, but it is meaningful.
